Why Can’t I Just Get My Daily Dose Of Water From A Soda?

How much water is too much?  Wait, wait, wait.  How about this…how much do I have to drink so I can still have my pop and coffee?  I mean let’s be honest here.  Water does not taste that good.  Really good water has no taste at all.  That is what I am talking about.  I like to drink stuff that I am already addicted to.  I was just on line and read about a guy that writes for a travel mag that has been traveling for the past 3 and half years.  There is a terrible misperception that the drinking water across this world is bad or disease ridden.  That is just simply not the case.  He states that he has drunk water from 70 countries and never had a problem.  Well I like my water crisp and clean.  I had a co-worker go to Mexico and get a bad case of diarrhea.  And she only drank the margaritas.  And, if you drink coke out of the can then there is no chance of a diarrhea bout.  Same for Mt. Dew.  What about Dr. Pepper?  Oh wait; I am seeing a trend here.  Clean sugar water in a can or bottle.  Yes that can be the answer to all these water problems.  But lets get back to the real issue.  Water that is potable can be found swimming in a nice bottle of beer.  I never was able to use that word potable was until recently.  You used to see it all time on trucks driving down the street.  They would use it for pool water and construction and the like.  It is unlikely that we will ever be able to use that word in any reasonable situation.  However, if I was to drink some water, and I don’t really think that I will.  So just for the sake of argument I get me a water filter cartridge and make some serious water that is potable.  How can I be sure that I am doing it right?  I have got my money on pee color.  Just enough to make it so you can read through it.
