What does it mean if my thumb makes ‘clicking’ sounds when I bend it?
When I bend my left thumb, it always makes a sound that sounds just like a gas(or maybe electric) stove turning on. It’s a clicking sound similar to two stones clacking against each other and I am curious as to what is happening. This doesn’t happen with any of my other fingers, so I’m not totally convinced the answer is that I’m cracking it. Not yet anyway.
It’s just fluid release, like cracking your fingers. It isnt harmful.
