This popular, feature rich espresso machine uses a high power 1250w motor, plus it has a built in grinder for coffee beans so you are not limited to only using pre-ground coffee. Having a bean grinder in a model in the price band of the Vienna is unusual (in a good way!) as bean grinders are typically only found in very much more expensive expresso machines.

The Vienna Super’s bean holder gives you 12 ounces (300 gram) bean holding capacity and…and this is very good, lets you program how fine you’d like it to ground the beans, a feature generally only offered by much more expensive machines. Having a bean grinder that you can set the grind level on means you will get perfect fresh ground coffee to match your personal taste. Plus you can set it to produce different espresso size shots meaning you get to control how much is made each time.

The result is that with the Vienna Plus Super Automatic you get total digital control! The Vienna’s design and looks are quoted as a favorite feature of many owners. It is stainless steel with an extremely stylish and modern look that fits in very well with both modern and rustic kitchens.

Saeco Xelsis SS Automatic
The Xelsis SS, like the Vienna is a stainless steel Saeco espresso machine but one of their more highly priced models. As with the Vienna Super Plus model, it allows you to grind fresh beans and brew them fresh right away for a perfect cup. Plus, the Xelsis has many professional features, for instance, you can set the strength level at a per cup basis when making several at a time, this means it is a great family or dinner party expresso machine.

You can define settings for upto 6 different drinks, meaning the brewing process for fresh espresso is very quick, professional cafe like in fact. A good example of how useful this can be is that you may program 6 drink options and save them, that’s ideal for a family or regular social group. Overall the Xelsis is a beautiful, sleek, high-end model, it looks great yet functions even better. If you have budget, really worth your consideration.

Saeco Via Venezia Traditional
Should you not feel ready the automatic Saeco espresso machine experience yet then the more traditional model which uses a pump is one to consider. The Via Venezia has a digital display that’s simple to use and see your settings on. It is a popular model for lower budgets to but keep in mind that it does not come with a grinder so you can only use pre-ground coffee.

The Saeco expresso machine you look at depend on what  you want from such a machine not to mention, your budget. Machines such as the Xelsis SS basically offer you true luxury, delicious top restaurant espresso and cappuccino in your own kitchen whereas traditional machines such as the Via Venezia give you great quality expresso with simple brewing, while a machine like the Vienna sits in the middle and is ideal for those needing or wanting the effectiveness of an automatic with great quality coffee but without the cost of the Xelsis.
