Who has good crock pot/ slow cooker recipes?
Like many of you, I’m a working mom on a tight schedule. I love to cook, but some nights I’d love to just come home to dinner without stopping at the local fast food joint or other take-out solutions.
I love coming home to the smells of dinner cooking but am running low on recipes for my crock pot.
What are some good recipes that I can throw in the crock pot before I leave for work that will be done after about 9+ hours?
Cambell’s soup has a slow cooker recipe book that is fantastic.
My favorite and easy thing to make in the slow cooker is chicken tacos. Take about 4-6 chicken breast and a large jar of salsa (enough to cover the chicken) and that’s it. My slow cooker has 4,8 and 10 hour settings. I find that any of them work. The chicken is easy to shred, just pop it into a taco shell with lettuce, cheese and tomatoes and you’re done. I usually will heat up a can of beans and sometimes make Mexican rice. My husband love to make burritos out of the left overs.
