black n decker foodprocessor is not working .hw to service it?
my black n decker foodprocessor powerpro II is not working .the power is on but spindle not moving…hw can i service it .any suggestions..pls
Make sure the processor container is locked into place properly, as well as the lid to it..The power light will come on but it will not turn untill this is properly installed..if it is properly installed then the little peg that the container slides over(very small usually under the handle part when installed properly) ghas been broken off..This is A small switch that the bucket part pushes down when installed that it is okay to turn on..this is a safety measure so you cant turn it on with the lid off, thus preventing you from chopping some fingers off..Here is the manual on it..This unit is A sealed type unit(even though you can get into it)…but if this part is broken,they do not provide a replacement p[art for it…You have to get a new one…look by where the handle is and see if you see A small button sticking up out of it(from the base part)..that tells it to spin or not..and will not unless it is depressed properly, by the top bucket..here is the info on making sure it is correctly installed
