How do you clean the inside of a plastic electric kettle?
I have the tall type of electric kettle not the roundish kind and it is made of plastic. It is made by Proctor Silex and it turns off automatically when it boils. I’ve had it for some time and can’t find the cleaning instructions. I think I use baking soda but not sure. Does anyone know, please? Thanks.
Fill the kettle with a1/2 and 1/2 solution of water and white vinegar and leave to sit overnight and rinse several times the following morning you could also use citric acid or malt vinegar then boil at least once to get rid of after taste before using water for your tea/coffee.
