Is there a secondary storage tank for an electric water heating system?
I have a newer electric water heater that I installed 2 years ago. While it works well, it can not keep up with my families needs. I am trying to find a secondary storage tank to go along with the tank on the heater. Is this practical, or would it be better to switch to an oil fired heater, both mechanically and economically?
Capacity!!! Depending on your families needs, a 30 gallon water heater may have been suitable before, but as kids grow and mature their needs change and may be using more hot water as a family. Or the recovery rate of the new water heater is lower than the previous.
