Which water filter is best for my newer Fridigaire fridge?
I have a Frigidaire fridge manufactured after 2001. The replacement model for this filter is WF1CB. It only is rated NSF/ANSI STANDARD 042, and not NSF/ANSI STANDARD 042 as well as NSF/ANSI STANDARD 053. The WFCB model filter DOES meet both standards, but it doesn’t appear to fit my fridge. Can I use the WFCB model in my fridge? There is a Brita filter, model FRRF-100, that is rated to fit my fridge. However, it is only NSF/ANSI STANDARD 042 rated. It seems that unless I can use the WFCB model in my fridge the filter unit in my fridge is pretty much useless…
