Reviewing the Keurig B60 Special Edition Gourmet Single Cup Home Brewing System. I love Coffee! Let get this clear right away. So reviewing this machine was not a chore at all, in fact it was a joy. I had assumed when i started reviewing single cup coffee makers, that they would all be quit similar. I was wrong, very wrong? There is more to coffee makers than meets the eye. So I took some time to really get into the detail and find the best single cup coffee maker for the home, on the market today .

My extensive research finally led me to the best little machine on the market today! I’m talking about the Keurig B60 Special Edition Gourmet Single Cup Home Brewing System.

What to Look for When Buying a coffee maker!

It didn’t take me long to realize that there are a few important things to keep in mind when buying a coffee maker. These are:

 The speed you get your coffee

 Temperature control

 Ease of use

 Ease of cleaning

If you just buy the first coffee brewer you see based on price alone, then you are destined for trouble particularly if you are going to be using the The coffee maker everyday. So stick with me here as I will be talking about each of these in relation to the Keurig B60 Special Edition Gourmet Single-Cup Home-Brewing System.

Ease of operation:

One of the most important components of a coffee brewer is the ease of use. This machine is the easiest coffee machine on the market today. The machine operates pretty much the same way as an auto espresso maker with the K-cup replacing the espresso handle and filter. Hot water from a removable tank is heated and then injected into the K-cup after the machine punches holes the cup’s top and bottom. On this particular model one can adjust the size of the cup and the temperature of the brew, though this is a rather narrow range. I got the best results from the smallest cup size and a 190 degree temp setting. The bottom line is that one can easily get a good decent cup of coffee in less than a minute with practically no mess.

Cleaning:

The filter cleaning, the pot washing, the measuring, the water filling, and the wiping of the coffee grinds and the water drops that had escaped me during the process onto the kitchen counter, I realized that I didn’t have to do it. It’s as easy to clean as anything on the market today.

Taste:

Let’s face it you can have the best machine in the world, but if the coffee tastes bad what is the point. It works not just as a coffee maker, there are also tea K-Cups available and it also can be used to heat water in less than 20 seconds. So if you have a tea bag and just want hot water, you will never use or need a kettle again. Ever. The k-pods are awesome – so many flavours to choose from, I use it for coffee and tea, and to top it of last night i went to bed with a hot chocolate, what a treat.

Any complaints?

I found very few complaints for this coffee maker on consumer sites around the Internet. One consumer did express concern that his machine was spitting water, iv’e searched and can’t find any one else saying the same thing.
