Just got it as a housewarming gift a few weeks ago.
Is the orange light supposed to stay on. It used to stay on, or so I thought, but now it turns off randomly??
So it’s ok to cook on it when the light is off? That means my food is cooking? lol. And when the light is on, is it ok to cook on it?
I have the same grill. When you initially plug it in, the orange light comes on, indicating that it’s heating. About 8 minutes later, the light goes out, meaning it has heated up properly. When you put your food on it, the grill cools down, causing the light to come back on. It will come on and off as the food cooks, meaning the grill is maintaining the temperature. It’s nothing to worry about. Just don’t put your food on the grill initially until the light goes out (as I said, after about 8 minutes).
