If I put regular granulated sugar through a coffee grinder will I get powdered sugar for a frosting recipe?
I really wanna make cupcakes right now, and I’m reading the back of my Hershey’s cocoa box, and there’s a recipe for chocolate frosting that calls for powdered sugar. I don’t have it right now, so would I get powdered sugar by running it through a coffee grinder, food processor, or even a blender?
Yup it will. Hey Bookish, what the heck, exactly would be wrong with coffee flavored icing? Hint ( if you don’t want coffee flavoured icing, which I think would be awesome,) Take a piece of white bread and break it up into chunks and run it through the grinder first. You’ll get all of the oils out of it. I know this to be true because I use my grinder for coffee and spices all the time and just give it the old bread whirl between.
