Home remidies to having a clean smelling house?
I tidy my house everyday ( i have kids) i clean my house every other day and i do a major cleaning on sundays.However my house doesn’t have a “clean smell”
Im leaving for 3 days and every time i come home my house smells gross.
Any ideas on how i can get it to smell better?
The best, “air freshener” is opening all the windows if you can. Cannot stress that enough. If it’s hot during the day, open the windows in the morning or at night. Also, put a bowl of vinegar (small) in the corners of your rooms. The vinegar traps odors. I also use, “Fabreze” spray for cloth furniture, carpets and curtains, every chance I get. I put toilet bowl fresheners that hang on the side of the bowl in all my trash cans with a lid. Also, you can put Fabreze dryer sheets under cushions, mattresses, anywhere you can for a unique smell. Use pine sol frequently on basins and counter tops. I also mix pine sol and windex in a spray bottle with a little water and spray my artificial plants. Not only do the leaves get squeaking clean, helps the odors in the room. And spray Lysol all around at night when everyone is asleep. That way no one breathes it and you don’t worry about lungs.
I had an apartment that had a disgusting moldy smell and my Dad’s home reeked. I did all the things I mentioned and no more smells.
