Canon ImageClass D320 – The Next Wave In Work Space Printer Technology
The Canon ImageClass D320 Toner Cartridge is a multi-functioning printer designed for business and office use. This is a printer and copier combines in one machine. Great for when you want to upgrade your machines and need to save space. The resolution is 1200 dpi vertically and 600 dpi horizontally. The largest paper size the machine take sis legal. The large the paper the slightly slower the printing speed but the machine has a maximum print speed of 15 pages per minute.
This printer runs off of a single cartridge system and is much easier then having to replace two different cartridges at different times. This single cartridge system makes it very easy and economical to operate. Paten glass is used for the copying surfaces and you have the option of reducing and enlarging the image up to 200% when copying.
A S35 cartridge is included with the printer and this cartridge is a regular cartridge. Many times the printer will come with a starter cartridge that only lasts for a short period of time. Not so with the Canon ImageClass D320 Printer, the cartridge is regular sized. Besides a cartridge a CD-ROM with software, power cord, cassette/multi-purpose tray and documentation kit are all included with the printer.
The Canon ImageClass D320 Toner Cartridge has a variety of features including the electronic collating, enlargement, reduction and a multi-stack bypass feeder. It is compatible with Windows operating systems. It connects to your computer using a USB cable, which is not included with the printer, and can be hooked up to a network.
It is very easy to install the printer when running Windows 98. However if your operating system is a later version you may have to direct the software to the specific file. Many customers have stated that the software does not automatically find the drivers on later operating systems. If you do not have advanced computer skills this step can be difficult.
Sometimes the printer will jam if you print multi-page documents over 15 pages but this is rare and you shouldn’t have any problems. A few users have noticed that the paper curls due to heat but as long as you have proper ventilation over heating is not an issue. As with many two sided copiers you may have to manually place the copies back into the paper cassette to avoid jamming or other issues, though this is common with many other printers.
This is a black and white printer and can only handle the most basic of graphics. Canon ImageClass D320 Printer Toner uses a laser, rotating mirrors, drum and toner to produce an image on the page. The laser is beamed to onto the drum, which causes the toner to be attracted to the beamed image. Then high temperatures are used to melt the toner and transfer it to the paper.
The Canon ImageClass D320 Printer is a very economical printer as the Canon ImageClass D320 toner is much less expensive then traditional laser printer toner.
