Your LCD Display Shutdown After a Few Seconds? Here Are 4 Proven Tips To Take Care of This Problem Fast!
Does your LCD display shutdown after a few seconds? Annoying isn’t it? But don’t you fret now…
I want you to relax and take a couple of minutes or so to read the next few paragraphs. In this article, I’m going to share a few effective tips to help you solve this annoying problem.

Okay, let’s begin…
Tip #1: After you unscrew the internal metal casing, do a comprehensive visual scan on the inverter board area. Examine all the vital components like ballast/tuning capacitors, buck diodes, push pull transistors etc.
Make sure the aforementioned components are okay, physically. No burnt marks, no capacitors blown apart, bulging, oozing, cracks or anything else of that sort.
Tip #2: If your LCD display shutdown after a few seconds and you find that there is nothing wrong with the invert board, then you might want take out you trusty digital meter and perform a test on the pico fuse.
For your info, a pico fuse should not register any ohm reading. So if your test result indicates one or more ohm figures, then it’s a good idea to get a new pico fuse replacement.
Tip #3: Defective amps fuse can also lead to this problem. So naturally, the solution is to replace it, BUT…what if the amps fuse fails again?
Instead of replacing with a brand new one, what you should do is examine all semiconductors, particularly those situated in the inverter board area.
Tip #4: Check the switch mode power supply, specifically its output voltages. If they are not steady then your LCD display will definitely shutdown after a few seconds of switching it on.
However, you may deduce that the problem lies with the main board, if output voltages flow steadily from the switch mode power supply.
