No. Air stones/wands are generally used for aesthetics only. They do add a bit of oxygen, but certainly not enough for that many fish/that size aquarium, and of course, they do nothing for the water quality.
What happened? Did your filter break?
I suggest that you replace/purchase a new filter ASAP. Until then, pour aquarium water from as far/high as possible, as often as possible, into the aquarium to get the water oxygenated.
In the mean time, if you did have an established filter, be sure to keep the filter media wet, (you can just float it in the aquarium,) and add it to the new filter when you get it. Leave it for at least a month so that the established beneficial bacteria can reestablish themselves in the new filter media.
If you’ve already tossed the filter media, and/or it’s dried out, you’ll very likely have a mini cycle in your tank. Be sure to test for Ammonia/NitrITE/NitrATE often and perform partial water changes if you see any less than desirable readings.

Oh, and by-the-by, Silver Dollars need a 48″ (55 or more gallons,) aquarium, and most Plecos require somewhere in the 55-125 gallon range, depending on the kind. You’re overstocked.
