Is there a way to make a latte in a coffee machine?
I have a double sided coffee maker that makes 2 mugs of coffee. If i wanted to make a latte with this, how would I go about doing this?
I know you can make a latte without espresso and just use strong coffee and double the coffee’s strength, but how would I ad the milk? Do i just put milk in the water part and steam it that way or would i put it in the microwave for a bit to warm it up before brewing the coffee?
Please let me know of a way to go about making my latte easier if this isn’t able to be done and good tips if it can.

Espresso requires pressure, so you’re never going to get espresso from a regular drip coffee maker.
You can, however, make a cafe au lait, which is 1/2 coffee and 1/2 milk. Never put anything other than water in your coffee maker. Heat the milk in the microwave.
If you don’t want to invest in a home espresso machine, try a Moka Pot (also called a stove top espresso maker). Some models have a steam arm, which will allow you to steam the milk instead of heating it in the microwave or on the stove. The texture of steamed milk is part of what makes a latte so yummy.
