How to make a paper coffee cup?
For a project at school, I have to make a giant Starbucks cup. I’m trying to figure out how to do it, and was wondering if there are any patterns or instructions online for making a paper coffee cup (like the ones used at Starbucks, Tim Hortons, etc.)?
For the main part of the cup (the sides), you’d need a strip of cardstock/poster paper/etc that was as tall as you want the cup to be and as long as the circumference of the cup you want, BUT somewhat curved so the top would be wider than the bottom.

Or you could just cut the bottom off of a paper cup, then cut down the “seam” line (or anywhere) to open it up and lay it flat so you could see the right kind of curve, and maybe just make that one taller or wider, etc. You could do that by eye, or by measuring up (and longer), or by “enlarging” it with the “grid” method:
