If you look forward to spring, Estee Lauder’s White Linen fragrances will let you experience the endearing freshness of the season in a bottle. 2009 marked the release of yet another White Linen flanker called Pure White Linen Pink Coral. Yes, it’s pink! It’s dainty, subdued and demure. The soft floral accords are reminiscent of the breezy afternoons with the sun hiding beneath the clouds. It’s one of those special days when the outdoors is too tempting to resist. This fragrance centers on the pink floral bouquet and for the crisp linen freshness, marine-like accords are infused. The notes are apple blossom, clear aldehydes, water fruits, pink peppercorns, Chinese berry mist, jasmine, pink peony, camellia flower, sweet pea, honeysuckle, cherry blossom, vanilla, heliotrope and sandalwood.

Pure White Linen Pink Floral may be sheer and light but sillage and longevity prove otherwise. The freshness lingers for hours after application which is not bad for a flanker. This fragrance is a skin scent – the closer you get, the more you get to savor the fragrance.

Despite the fact the Pure White Linen Pink Floral is a rehash of the original; it doesn’t come off as boring. The notes are linear throughout but it is well-executed in this version. The longevity factor stands out even if it smells similar to the other White Linen perfumes in the collection.

On the other hand, if you want to treat your nose to something zesty with a tinge of soft floral notes, Pure White Linen’s Light Breeze fits the description. It offers the same crisp White Linen freshness mixed with citrus notes. Sillage is worth it because it stays on the skin for hours.
