Just bought a popcorn maker…. Few questions?
Can I just use the regular kind that comes in little packages at the grocery store?
And how often do I clean the popper?
clean the popper every time you use it if you want it to stay clean. it’s like a pan if you want it to not stain or anything like that, clean with every use and you could use the stuff you buy at the store but it wouldn’t be as good and the stuff they put on the corn would make cleaning it hard (ironic answer to your question right). but the best thing to do is get just the kernals (at walgreens or kings or pretty much anywhere that sells food) get salt and butter (melted) and season to your liking. if you have a newer model there might be a small indent on the top of the plastic director (thing that makes the popcorn go into the bowl). it looks like a small cupholder. it is there to put a little butter in and while your popcorn is cooking it’ll melt the butter to put on top. its awsome.
