I’ve put a pot of chicken stew in the oven set for time bake, how long is it ok in my oven?
I prepped chicken stew (chicken quarters on top of potatoes and carrots and onions) last night and left it in the fridge, this morning I took it out of the fridge and put it in the oven and set the time bake to come on 9 hours later (to cook for 3 hours on 350) am I going to kill my family with it sitting in the oven that long?
That’s way too long to leave raw meat out of the fridge. If it hasn’t been there too long and you can go home, put it back in the fridge and cook it when you get home, or put it in a crock pot.
