Could you tell me how good is PRO PAC dog Food?
After doing some research about commercial dog food in my country, I found out that the best brands were: PROPAC, Eukanuba and Royal Canin. I bough Pro Pac for my 8 1/2 year old Akita. Here are the ingredients http://www.propacpetfood.com/us/dogs/large-breed-adult.php . Can someone tell me if it is acceptable dog food?
By looking at the ingredients, I found two crap ingredients listed in the first four ingredients, and one I am not sure about. First off… corn… bad… cheap filler. Same with brewer’s rice… it’s literally the rejected part of the plant. I am not sure about rice flour, I don’t remember reading anything bad about that. You want to avoid foods that have any corn, wheat, or soy and you don’t want by products in food. You also are going to want an extremely high content of meat. Here is website that goes over different dog foods and you want to feed your dog something with either 5 or 6 stars, 4 isn’t horrible, but there are other options out there easily.
