Have An Easy Christmas With These Kitchen Essentials
It’s the time of year when we like to spend time with our family and friends, eating, drinking and generally having a good time. But many of us find that we spend all our time in the kitchen preparing food and drink. I have found that there are a few pieces of essential kitchen equipment that I simply can’t do without.
Without doubt my favourite piece of equipment is my trusty food processor. There are some great food processors available today but I like my old and basic Kenwood which I use nearly every day.
And I mustn’t overlook my wonderful blender. I use this for making tasty smoothies that my children love. But it’s also really useful for making quick and tasty soups. If your kitchen isn’t equipped with one of these then I recommend you get one. You will quickly find you can’d do without them.
And I must of course mention our nice big four-slice toaster and the kettle which is in constant use over Christmas. The kettle is probably the most important piece of kitchen equipment in my house.
But a recent addition to my kitchen equipment has been a fantastic coffee machine. I particularly like a good cup of coffee and my coffee maker really delivers. Its lovely to give your guests a great cup of coffee before they depart.
One of my favourite pieces of kitchen equipment is my lean-mean fat-reducing grilling-machine and this gets used constantly over Christmas. These are particularly good for meats including steaks, chops, fish cutlets and chicken breasts. My grilling machine is actually used more than my hob and oven for cooking meat and fish.
Adding just a few labour saving devices to your kitchen will help you to have a fantastic Christmas. You will find that adding just a few of these appliances will save you time and open up all sorts of culinary possibilities.
