im reading a recipe of strawberry pie and it say slice two pints of strawberry what does that mean?

It means to slice up 4 cups of strawberries.
A ‘pint’ is a measurement, that is the equivalence to 2 cups.
Since you need 2 pints of sliced strawberries, you would need a total of 4 cups!
