Recommendations on household deli slicers?

I was looking to get my boyfriend a deli slicer for christmas hes been wanting one for a while now. He wants it for home use to make his own lunch meats out of roast, ham, etc. Has anyone found one they liked that works well and is a reasonable price? I saw one in the kmart ad for this week it is called Deni Pro food slicer its only $50 anybody ever used or owned one of these? I am a little skeptic since its only $50.

Go to restaurant store and get a simple one $100.00 for sure or get a Cuisinart one for the Web-site.
