How do you purge the gas line on a brand new ge smart water heater?
I just bought a new ge smart water heater – manufactured in 4/07. Everything is set up but I think there is air in the gas line. Does anyone know how to force the gas through to the pilot?
You could loosen a fitting and purge it quickly, but the safe way is to continue holding the pilot lighting knob down until you get gas through the valve.
