Whole grains are easy to prepare dinner on the stovetop (as you’ll cook rice or pasta), or in a countertop steamer. I always prepare dinner one pound (2Ѕ cups) of complete grains at a time (as much as my steamer will maintain), since they keep effectively — refrigerated or frozen. Leftovers may be reheated in a microwave or utilized in salads. I make my very own “on the spot grains” by packaging Ѕ-1 cup portions in baggies and storing them in the freezer.
