Review by V. Lyman – I had only a Cuisinart Mini-prep and was ready for a full-sized food processor. I was uncertain whether this one would be big enough, but it is–no need to go to a larger capacity model unless you routinely cook for large crowds. It will chop/slice/shred enough for most recipes. Yesterday I shredded a quarter of a large cabbage without needing to empty it. It’s fairly easy to use, once you understand that the bottom and top and pusher all have to be locked in place for it to run. It’s easy to clean–best to rinse all parts before food has a chance to stick (something true of any appliance). It’s quiet and looks good on my counter top, and is short enough to fit under the top cabinet–something I was worried about with the larger models. I think I’ll have this one for a long time.

Review by April nj - I recently bought this food processor from Amazon and I absolutely love it!! I make a lot of vegetarian meals in which they call for the use of a food processor. Having the smallest version that Cuisinart makes–about 3 cups–I stuck with the company. The base of this 9 Cup food processor is solid/heavy (around 3-5 lbs). Thus, I can walk away and not worry about it falling off the counter. Clean up is also really easy–just be careful of the sharp blades. Great purchase and I highly recommend this product.
