How do I bake a pie in a toaster oven?
i want to make a pie for my dad for father’s day, unfortunately our oven is not working at the moment. does anyone have a good strategy/tips for baking a pie in a toaster oven? or alternatively, other toaster-oven-bakeable desserts for fathers day?
Assuming that a pie crust will fit in your toaster oven, I’d just bake it at a slightly lower temperature because of the heating elements being so close to the pie.
I would like to suggest, however, that you make a pie using Graham Cracker crust, and using a custard pie filling. Then you don’t have to use the toaster oven at all.
