electric stove caught fire, can i still use it?

i cooked a steak way to close to the broiler and it caught fire. it was a small fire and i was able to pull the tray out and toss it into the sink to put it out. my question is, now that the inside of my oven caught fire, is it a hazard in the future or is it safe to use?

Most likely it was your steak that was on fire. If the element still works, your stove should be just fine.
