slight burning smell from vintage mixer?
got a vintage sunbeam mixer from the 50s…anyone still use one of these? well when it start up it got a slight burning smell that decreases as it mixes but never fully goes away. what is causing this and is it still safe to use? someone online said a lot of older appliances get this smell too….but i dunno. ty.
The enamel on the motor windings is going bad. Chuck it in the trash.
