how many kwh does an appliance use?
I have a juicer which is 115V and 6.7A and I was wondering how to figure out how many kwh it would use in one hour of operation. I know it uses 770.5 watts, but in what time frame does it use that amount of watts?
kwh is a term used to determine how much energy consumed. To find how many kwh used simply multiply 770.5 watts by how many hours the appliance ran for. For 1 hour it used 770.5 watt hours (.7705 kwh) in 2 hours of running it used 1.541 kwh and so on.
