has anyone used this product..Zojirushi NS-MYC10 Micom Fuzzy Logic 5.5 Cup Rice Cooker and Warmer?

I’m wondering what kind of rice you need to buy..bagged rice or minute rice?
Will it cook rice and beans at the same time?
Does the rice come out sticky like in chinese restraunts?

I would not cook minute rice in this cooker. Rice cookers like this one are really meant to cook asian rice (medium grain rice – the sticky kind).

I’ve tried cooking other things in my rice cooker like brown rice, Rice-a-Roni and regular long-grained rice. Just be sure to add a less water to the pot. It’s a trial and error process.

With the beans and rice, I wouldn’t try it unless your beans are precooked (like from a can). I agree that a crock pot might be a better option for you.
